i want snakeskin print sock yarn. in pinks, or greens, or dark reds, purples. or even greys & browns. how cool would that be? i'm working on making it happen.

otherwise, i'm taking part in a 20 day Happiness project. It was my weekly horoscope, but so far it's been really productive and i think everyone should try it if they like, not just geminis!

i want, want, want one of these! thank you kate gilbert, i couldn't live without your talent! the pattern is free online at www.interweave.com (but i would pay for it even if it wasn't free). thinking of using Reynolds Odyssey, but not sure which colour yet.

the olympic skirt isn't finished yet. no gold for me, but i'm honoured just to be in the competition. actually, i was diverted by some other projects i wanted to finish. i'm just not the monogamous type. ;-)

i finished my 3 skein wonder and the red mohair cardi wrap, both i'll photograph as soon as they are blocked. i think the cardi wrap will be available as a download eventually.

this year i gave unknitted gits for the holidays. some people got special kits 'cause they're special but i had the fixins in the store for one of my favorite free pattterns on the net: the vegan fox. Roscoe got a vintage pink, Deb got goth purple, and Chelle got blue to match her hair & eyes .... and here it is! Her kids have named it Weezie, which is funn'y 'cause i've been humming that tune alot lately: listen to the song We're a movin' on up, (We're a movin on up.) To the east side. (Mo-vin on up.)
