Gaia Fitted Silk Top Down V-Neck Tank
by Haley Waxberg
Currently there is only one size for this pattern. The yarn has been discontinued and I think it may evolve into something else anyway. But for your pleasure, here it is. Please let me know if you run into any problems, typos or have some suggestions!
Size: one size, 37” finished bust, 23” long, but it is VERY stretchy and probably will fit a 40" bust easily. To make a smaller size go down a needle size.
Gauge: 14sts & 20 rows = 4”
Materials
• 6mm/24” circular neddles
• Handmaiden Silk Spun x 2 (100g/150m)
• 6mm crochet hook
• clover locking st markers
• large clover stitch holders
• scrap yarn
Techniques
Alternating yarns, provisional cast on
Important Notes
• When alternating yarns twist around each other EVERY row, even when you are not changing colours, to minimize a ladder from forming.
• On fronts carry yarn up the armhole, not the neckline, and all even rows will start at the armhole and work towards the neckline.
• Always continue to alternate yarns every other row.
