"Toasters" Free Legwarmers Knitting Pattern

1x1legwarmers, originally uploaded by myhighfiber. Toasters I made these legwarmers to keep me warm & toasty under my short yoga pants but the've become a staple for every day use. You can wear them tall or push them down to slouch. I wear them under my pants in the cold weather. Make them plain for a classic, subdued look, in stripes for fun or a variegated yarn for an organic aesthetic (like Black Forest Naturewolle). They go really fast and I like them alot as a gift.

bag, originally uploaded by myhighfiber.

and i finished the "Jackie" bag from needful yarns! ( i didn't really block it properly and i totally over felted it, but it still looks great! given the chance i'd make the strap wider and less decreases at the top.

shawl, originally uploaded by myhighfiber.

i finished the shawl too. looks more like a ray in that pic. i just finished ironing it. i have no idea how to bock it properly but the way pluto sheds all over me i'll be washing it sooner than later and then i'll have to block it again.

i overdyed it. looks great, super dark chocolate brown. and i ripped some back, it was too large for my purposes. don't remeber how many pattern repeats i did, will have to post that later with a pic.

little mosque

little mosque, originally uploaded by myhighfiber.

this is a little bit of cheating but ... i know someonoe who works on the CBC show LITTLE MOSQUE ON THE PRARIE. if the show is picked up for another season they will get their job back too. there isn't tons of work right now in the television & film arts, especially since the film industry tanked last year.

sooooo, pleas write to CBC and tell them how much you lurv the show. i did! i think Zaib Shaikh (the guy in the picture) is super hot! and i don't really relate to the wonderbread conent CBC usually produces.

you can e-mail CBC here:
