Randomly Striped Noro Pillow

Hidey-Ho Knitterinos!

I have been working hard, trying to make things in the sofa region (sofaville? the village of chesterfield? love seat land?).  I have completed my second Noro Striped Pillow, this one is 19" x 19" and the width of the stripes was random.  I've almost got the hang of pillow design, fit is a big consideration and I've been playing with ease because they stretch quite a bit and fit best that way.

Here's the latest pillow all alone.

Talk to us about fit a bit please....I'd like to use up some Noro in my stash, but really don't like frogging that yarn. How much stretch do you allow for?

working with the noro blossom i'm giving negative 3 inches ease (from total circumference), using a needle that is 1/2mm less than i would normally knit it with. but the blossom seems to be stretchier than some silk garden that i just cast on with. i will have to work up the silk garden version, wash it and see what happens. i am using 4mm needles with the silk garden to make the weave tight enough.
