Tailor Made Bouquet (the knitted bicycle)

I've worked up a pile of flowers and am starting to join them and start dressing the bike. it is dressing, this is an exercise in tailoring as well as Art. I've started with the seat, which seems to be one of the toughest parts to fit. the human bum makes a very strange negative shape. anyway, the covering over the seat is going to have to be fitted directly to it. it reminds me of story about Marilyn Monroe and the dress she wore when she sang Happy Birthday to President Kennedy; apparently it was so tight she had to be sew into it (she only *looked* like she's been poured into it).  Anyway, it's turning out to be bespoke clothing for machinery.
