another brick in the pole ....

someone tried to steal one of my pole cardies. as ramona says, thievery is the sincerest form of flattery! anyway, they are fastened down.

Speaking of ramona, go check out her Hibiscus of Hope Pattern, she is raising funds for Breast Cancer research.

and here is the noro kureyon sock yarn i-cord chainette experiment: it's becoming a rug! you are looking at 2 skeins of Noro Kureyon Sock yarn knitted up into an i-cord on my Prym Knitting Mill/Corker and then crocheted with a 15mm hook. it is currently 16" in diameter.
it's a very good way to use up extraneous sock yarn but not an efficient use of time or energy. i am getting better at using the machine and have figured out how get the stitches back on when they've slipped off .... my great grandmother's tiny little crochet hooks are finally back in action!

Hey~
You looked lovely at Stitch n Pitch! What a fun night - sorry I didn't get to catch up to you but wow, there were a lot of knitters there. The event was awesome.
